The
question of why we shall be having a school press? Or why weren’t we having a
school press till now? Hits all of us. Well, in our school we have an office
body, we’re allowed to vote for electing the office body, we also have an
executive and judiciary all rolled into one in the form of our teachers. But
going with the spirit of democracy, don`t you feel that the media is missing.
We all know how important the role of media is in a democracy so here we are,
The Liberated Press of The Millennium School (LPTMS) has been established for
this very reason, to compliment the spirit of democracy in our school. But it
has a wider goal to achieve. The LPTMS is not only for school politics,
covering events or catching up on popular gossip. No, it’s a way for you and
for us to understand each other, to help resolve problems that we all face.
It’s a way for you to be more aware of the things that are taking place in our
school. So do join us and read into our weekly editions (published online every
Sunday at 10:30 hrs.) And support us in our small initiative that we wish to
achieve.
